Create safe and peaceful environment for distress Elderly

People live with dignity all their life and suddenly one day they are left with no choice but to beg survive. The Healer Foundation has been reaching out to senior citizens who are in need and provides them with an environment that is safe and peaceful. The Healer Foundation has been working for the welfare and empowerment of older persons in need.

Monthly Pension

Aging is a universal process; the population of elderly persons have been increasing by years. Elderly population who belongs from vulnerable back ground, below poverty line and not able to afford even a one-time meal and basic medical necessities, are cover under the programme by The Healer Foundation. THF is reaching out to those senior citizens who are in need and provide them hassles free environment through old age monthly pension scheme.

Focus

Food Temple

Senior citizens living in poverty face desertion by their own families as they cannot earn an income. Many time, they have to beg for survival. Many elderlies are left alone after their children move to the cities in search of a better livelihood. The Healer Foundation started the programme Food Temple with the concept of feeding people who are living in hunger. Food Temple is a place where food is served among the needy elderly citizens who can’t afford one time meal for their living.

Focus

Cloths distribution

Developing countries like India, countless under privileged elderly can’t afford their basic clothing for daily use. who are managing with only one or two clothing. There is no one to support them. They feel low esteemed and has low confidence, as the person below poverty line sees spending money of cloths as a waste of money. Considering the condition THF rolled out new cloth distribution programme for the poorest old population.

We should move forward and take necessary actions to provide them an economically stable future for these destitute old people. It’s time to bang together..
